A senior eye surgeon with great experience, including thousands of satisfied patients in the field of laser eye surgeries for vision repair. Dr. Marmur has been practicing laser eye surgeries since 1992, at the very beginning of the technological development.
Dr. Marmur completed his internship in ophthalmology at the Soroka medical center, and is an expert in ophthalmology, with a sub expertise in Oculoplastics.
Dr. Marmur is a senior ophthalmologist at the service of Maccabi and Meuhedet health maintenance organizations, and provides consultation to The National Insurance Institute on the subject of people who suffer from blindness. Dr. Marmur is a member of the Ophthalmologist Organization of the Israel Medical Association, a member of the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Group and the Oculoplastics group of the Israeli Ophthalmologist
Organization.
Dr. Marmur has been to continuing educational programs, given by the best experts, including the world leading experts of laser eye surgeries for glasses removal, as well as other courses in this field in Israel and abroad, including conferences of ASCRS and ESCRS – the American and European Societies of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Marmur is an active participant of international conferences where doctors are exposed to the newest technologies. He participates in the exchanging of ideas, medical techniques and surgical methods with the world leading centers in this field.
